72pics Was Released » read source
A new Windows application that lets the users create nice looking flash galleries in minutes, called 72pics was launched. The application is made to fit the expertise of the average computer user who always wanted to create flash galleries without knowledge of image hosting, programming, etc. The program is always ready for interaction and runs in the lower left corner of the desktop. The user clicks on 72pics, as soon as new images are available on computer, the USB stick, CD/DVD or elsewhere, and the program lets him select the images. 72pics does the rest after the images are selected. It runs in the background and creates the gallery. A new browser window is launched, as soon as it is done, and the gallery is online, ready to be added to Facebook ready to be emailed, ready to be sent to friends and lot more. 72pics is priced at $9.90 USD.
72pics does not require any registration by the user, unlike the web based image hosting sites. The installation the program is the only thing that is required. The program is connected with the 72pics website, where the images are stored after the user has published the gallery.
Web professionals, however, have the option to change the FTP settings and publish the gallery to their website. Also there is the option to save the gallery offline.
The application runs on Windows XP, 2000 and Vista. It requires the .NET framework. The installation checks if the computer has the framework and if not it redirects you to the location where it can be downloaded. ...
