Two charities are about to receive 83,250 shares of Tapatap's common private stock. This initiative has been taken by the company's executive management and board members. The local charity located and servicing San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, or San Francisco County will receive 41,625 shares of the company's stock, while the national charity located in the United States will receive the exact same number of shares.
Two online contest have been organized by Tapatap, allowing users to vote for their favorite charity to win the shares offered by the company. Visitors can submit and vote for their favorite charities on the company's web site, www.tapatap.com or via mobile at m.tapatap.com. Visitors can choose from all the nonprofit organization charities that have been registered and that are eligible for submission. The contest started on the December, 14 2007 and will end on March 15, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
Isaac Babbs, CEO and Co-Founder of Tapatap, stated: "When we founded Tapatap, we set aside 83,250 shares of Tapatap's common stock for charity. We are happy to announce today that we are opening up two contests to determine who should receive the 83,250 shares by using our own contest voting system. Once the contest is open, anyone can submit a charity logo to the contest. The charity must meetseveral requirementys in order to qualify.

If you want to promote your favorite charity, you can create "vote for me" badges on tapatap.com for placement on social networking sites, such as MySpace.com, Facebook.com, Friendster, or on other blogs or web sites. Your friends or community members can then click on the "vote for me" badge that will take them directly to the charity entry so they can vote in the contest for your charity.
