A collaboration has been announced between Richard Finch, producer, arranger and co-founder of the famous 70's group "KC and the Sunshine Band" and Rich Little, musician and owner of Little Vineyards Winery in Sonoma, CA. "Band Blend - The CD" will be launched by the two, together with Little Vineyard's "Band Blend Track 2" Gold Medal winning wine.

The amazing CD has 10 tracks, including some of Little and Finch's original new music. The songs are performed by some of the most famous artists from Canada, Finland and the U.S. and is an outstanding combination of  Jazz, Blues, Funk, Reggae and Soul.

Little said: "Who knew that during a casual afternoon meeting, Rick and I would identify an untapped market and come up with an amazing idea to combine our 'Band Blend Track 2' wine with Rick's 'Band Blend' compilation CD."

Finch added: "The concept that Rich and I have developed is unique and fresh, just like Little Vineyard's 'Band Blend' wine and the amazing music and artist's I've produced for this project. The pairing of the two truly is a beautiful fusion of the total sensory experience."

Finch has also been successful in the music industry, having produced and performed numerous Number One hits with KC and the Sunshine Band, resulting in seven Grammy nominations and five wins, plus four American Music Award nods and two wins and a commemorative star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame presented in 2002, recognizing the cultural impact of this 1970's super band.

Rich and Joan Little are the owners of Little Vineyards, a 17 acre family estate. Located in Glen Ellen, CA, this Sonoma Valley appellation is ideal for producing quality fruit and outstanding red wines. Zinfandel, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon are the primary varietals planted on this vineyard as well as a small block of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petite Sirah and Merlot. Two award winning wines have been produced from their estate grown fruit: a 2002 Zinfandel and 2002 Resonance, and a Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon blend.
