A full service communications technology company, CC&N, today announced that its board of directors has elected Alan T. Biland president and chief executive officer. Biland replaces Richard Hettwer, current president, CEO and founder, who has led the company since its founding in 1986, who will remain with CC&N as non-executive chairman of the board.
Biland, 49, was most recently senior vice president of Snap-on Incorporated and president - Snap-on Tools Company, LLC in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Biland served, prior to that, as president - Diagnostics and Information, as well as chief information officer (CIO) for Snap-on. He held positions of increasing responsibility in Information Technology with a manufacturer of Agricultural and Construction Equipment in Racine, Wisconsin, CNH Global, before joining Snap-on in 1998, and he also served on the board of directors of The Hillman Company and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
