AltiGen’s VoIP phone systems are designed with an open, distributed architecture, built on industry standard Intel-based servers, SIP-compliant IP phones, and Microsoft-based IP applications. This adherence to widely-used standards provides a robust, reliable and scalable phone system which leverages a company's existing technology investment. The MAX Communications Server (MAXCS) 6.0 is AltiGen's next generation full-featured VoIP phone system and unified communications solution designed for businesses with support for up to 5,000 users. "By migrating to a software based softswitch architecture, we are able to deploy MAXCS 6.0 on any AltiGen certified Intel based server," said Jimmin Yao, vice president of product management. "In larger enterprise organizations, the new software based softswitch architecture will give IT departments the flexibility to deploy MAXCS on their company's specified standard server platform."
This release allows AltiGen's MAXCS 6.0 to operate as the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 IP PBX plug-in with native integration. Native integration also gives IT managers a single point of management for all company communications for archival and regulatory compliance requirements.
