Release 18.1 of the software product, CPExpert™ has been recently issued by Computer Management Sciences, Inc. (CMS). Used on IBM mainframes, CPExpert™ is an automated performance analysis tool. Including enhancements to support IBM's newest mainframe, z10 and its "HiperDispatch Management Mode", the release contains significant improvements in the analysis and features of the product.
An informative technical white paper called "An Introduction to HiperDispatch Management Mode with z10" has been also released by CMS. The paper explains the algorithms that existed before HiperDispatch, provides an overview of the IBM z10 implications that require HiperDispatch, presents an introduction to HiperDispatch concepts, and describes performance consideration when implementing HiperDispatch.
