Authentidate Holding Corp., a provider of secure workflow management software and web-based services, announced that Advanced Home Care, a home medical and nursing care organization, is extending its use of the Inscrybe Healthcare platform to include the ePOC module. Advanced Home Care has been utilizing Inscrybe Healthcare's electronic Certificate of Medical Necessity module to streamline its key operations and reduce their document processing costs.

    Now, by deploying ePOC, Advanced Home Care's Home Health Agency group will experience similar improvements when exchanging POC forms and other interim documentation with their referring physicians. The deployment of the ePOC module also enables Advanced to move closer to achieving its goal of standardizing document processing workflows across its HHA and Home Medical Equipment groups.

    Authentidate's secure web-hosted Inscrybe Healthcare platform will enable Advanced Home Care's HHA team to instantly send POC forms to physicians directly from their homecare practice management and billing system. Attending physicians can review and sign POC documents online or receive sign and transmit documentation back to Advanced Home Care via fax.
