AVerMedia Technologies, Inc. recently released the revolutionary EB1704HB WiFi-4 NVR. The EB1704HB WiFi-4 Standalone NVR Surveillance System offers an innovative, effective and affordable surveillance system that is ideal for residences, small businesses and convenience stores. Quality video input is essential when recording, but even the ultimate in video-processing technology cannot turn poor images into live video. High-quality cameras, therefore, are a must. Since traditional cameras cannot address the problems of limited color, low resolution or operation in harsh environments, many users are going for higher priced digital, IR or day-night cameras with PTZ functions.

By integrating a powerful NVR, state-of-the-art wireless router and four pre-configured wireless IP cameras,
AVerMedia has created the world's first NVR system that provides crystal-clear video images by simply powering on. Taking full advantage of the wireless-IP world and breakthroughs in seamless NVR, camera and router compatibility, the EB1704HB WiFi-4 can be installed and setup with live video monitoring in under ten minutes!

In addition, cabling affect s video-input quality. Because of complications with long-distance transmission
, many installations use LAN or WAN networks. Frame rate is another issue with many users complaining about image fluency when converting analog to digital. If surveillance systems cannot play real-time images while detecting a speeding situation, they are useless to transit authorities. Real-time display technology of 30 frames per second, DVRs with transmission of 480 frames per second and high-quality 16-channel DVRs are ensuring round-the-clock security.

The EB1704HB WiFi-4 can be connected to virtually any CCTV, LCD or TV monitor with real-time recording
and advanced MPEG4 compression. Video intelligence ensures that alerts, accessible through a cell phone, PDA or remote computer, are sent if there is motion detected, or if an external sensor device such as a smoke detector indicates danger. It can also lock doors, turn on lights, trigger external alarm systems, and more! Precious HDD space is maximized by self-preserving features such as sensor or motion detection recording.

"The EB1704HB WiFi-4 is a result of rethinking surveillance conventions to produce a powerful product
that help our consumers save time and money. For the modern digital home or business facility, video surveillance that is intelligent, with crystal-clear video access anywhere, anytime, and installation with a push of the power plug is a true necessity," noted David Hwang, Product Manager for AVerMedia Technologies, Inc.
