BancTec, a provider of advanced, high volume document and payment processing solutions, has signed a two year agreement with Netvantage, Inc. to provide support services for customers throughout the U.S. who have purchased or leased the FUJI FZ-5180 remittance processing system from Netvantage. Under its agreement with Netvantage, BancTec will provide Netvantage customers with service and support on the FUJI FZ-5180, including hardware installations, onsite support, preventive maintenance, and parts and supplies logistics.

"Netvantage has built a strong capability in payment processing solutions and finding creative ways to utilize state-of-the-art
technology to solve business problems," commented Terry Holash, vice president hardware services, BancTec. While BancTec's support services can be provided for companies in any industry, Netvantage has a particularly strong customer base in financial services, insurance, and county and state government.

More and more companies are looking for ways to streamline operations and reduce unproductive downtime
by outsourcing necessary but non-strategic activities within their business. BancTec helps organizations reduce costs while improving customer satisfaction by enhancing the quality of document and payment processing applications. Based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Netvantage develops application software designed to automate payment processing for public and private organizations across the U. S.

Terry went on saying: "As Netvantage expanded distribution of the FUJI product line,
it recognized the need to provide professional hardware maintenance and support, something that is often difficult for foreign manufacturers to do. With a long history of providing these same services on our own and other manufacturers' remittance processing hardware, we were a natural fit to service Netvantage's customers across the U.S. We look forward to expanding our relationship with Netvantage."

"BancTec is a well-recognized name in the payment processing industry and has an established professional service team
that we were able to leverage," stated Ken Bour, president, Netvantage. "We have been extremely impressed with many facets of BancTec's service operation, including its responsiveness; the quality and product knowledge of its service technicians; its multi-tiered technical support team and its flexibility in supporting our geographic footprint. We have already signed more than a half dozen new customers as part of this relationship, and are in the process of converting several others."
