CAD & Company's ECM Division Acquired by BlueCielo Acquires  » read source
A leading global software company offering Engineering Content Management (ECM) solutions, BlueCielo ECM Solutions, today announced that it has a move which strengthens its market leadership position in Engineering Content Management solutions by acquirying CAD & Company's ECM division and its ImandrA suite of products. The acquisition means, for BlueCielo, a strategic expansion of its product portfolio with increased synergy in the areas of product development and internationalization. CAD & Company is enabled, by selling its ECM division, to focus completely on delivering, integrating and providing support for its design and ICT solutions for the construction and metal-processing industries.

BlueCielo's CEO, Martijn Janmaat, states: "The ImandrA product suite and CAD & Company's ECM team represent a strategic extension of our core operations".

Managing director of CAD & Company, Rob Oud, explained: "Because delivering, integrating and providing support for design solutions involves an entirely different line of work than product development and international distribution, I have decided to sell our ECM division to an expert."

Including energy, pharmaceutical, government, petrochemical, oil & gas, and discrete and process manufacturing, BlueCielo ECM Solutions provides Engineering Content Management and Application Integration solutions for multiple vertical industries. With over 275,000 users in 50+ countries worldwide, BlueCielo has more than two decades of industry experience. Together with an extensive global network of established partners, the company has offices in the UK, USA, Russia, Germany and the Netherlands.
