Enabling the satellite service provider to increase the capacity of the bandwidth on its network, ViaSat Inc. is supplying its AcceleNet® wide area network optimization software for the LinkStar satellite networking system to UK-based Bentley Walker Telecom. As a way to increase the capacity of its Star Nova S2 network, and to offer a better user experience to its end-customers, Bentley Walker is championing the technology in the ViaSat system.

For customers of its Star Nova S2 as well as its Star Pro service, Bentley Walker has purchased 1000 licenses of the AcceleNet WAN optimization software. To dramatically accelerate satellite link and http application performance, the product uses proprietary state-of-the-art compression and optimization technologies. Over 1.5 million customers use the well-proven AcceleNet software around the World.
