Community, Opportunity for Small Business Created by New Website

With the launch of Briz.com, the first Web site that creates local communities and opportunities for small business owners, small businesses now have a new powerful ally on the Internet. And it’s free.

Small business owners are allowed by Briz.com to create a thorough business profile to enhance business relationships, share information, and stay in contact with their clients, customers, and/or suppliers. Briz offers small businesses free exposure to their current market as well as new markets.

Founder of Briz.com, Michael Librizzi, says: “Social networking for businesses is what Briz.com is all about”. The site was designed to make it as easy as point-and-click for small business owners; no computer knowledge is needed to get started.

Consumers can become “Friends” with a business. To enhance marketing efforts, businesses can become “Biz Buds” with each other. And businesses can add suppliers as “Business Associates” to connect an entire marketplace.

Librizzi says: “We make it possible to market to specific local communities”. “Businesses can stay in constant connection with their business contacts. When a business makes an update, their entire marketplace is automatically notified.”

They’re only a few simple steps away from creating an online business profile, after businesses sign up on the site. Businesses can list company details, highlight business expertise, a business description, or list news, events, coupons, menus, services and products.

“We combine local search with social networking and enhance the entire supply chain, from customers to business partners to suppliers. Businesses can use Briz to find new leads, new clients, and promote business in their local area.” Librizzi says in just the first week the site was in operation, a jewelry business connected with a jewelry supply business. They’re now working together.

Being a Syracuse University graduate and a former Morgan Stanley employee, Librizzi left the firm to pursue his dream of empowering business owners with the tools that can produce powerful connections and yield opportunity.

Librizzi says: “The goal of Briz.com is to create an online community from the perspective and needs of small business owners”.
