A new Christmas mobile game, Deep Freeze, has been launched by  clickgamer.com, the world leading  smartphone games consumer portal. Everyone has the chance to receive the game for free until the 15th of January 2008. the m,moment the number of downloads gets to one million,  USD$10,000 will be donated  to a non-profit climate change organisation by the company that stands behind  clickgamer.com, Chillingo.

The game is compatible with all Windows Mobile devices, Symbian ( S60, S60V3, UIQ, UIQV3, S80, S90) phones , Windows Desktop and even the GP2X console.

Chris Byatte, Managing Director of Chillingo, stated: "Every christmas, we have given away a new version of Snowed In to all our customers and site visitors as a thank you and goodwill gesture for their support. This year, in keeping with tradition, we are releasing Snowed In 6 - Deep Freeze but with a difference - we will donate $10,000 to a non-profit climate change organisation when the download counter hits 1 million."

All types of mobile phones, such as   Window Mobiles, Symbian, Palm, RIM BlackBerry and J2ME, can buy mobile games offered by  clickgamer.com . The mobile network makes no difference, as the games are delivered by publishers such as  Amiga, Vivendi Mobile, Magmic and In-fusio, that work in collaboration with  clickgamer.com,  as a non-operator affiliated site. Customers have the ooportunity of conveniently purchasing directly through their mobile phopnes and desktop, due to the  ClickPayGo mobile payment system that Chillingo uses. This is a solid and convenient way for customers to buy their games.

Chris Byatte comments: "The mobile content market has seen dramatic change over the last 6 years that we have been operating. As an independent mobile commerce business, we provide the mobile market with an alternative source for high quality content irrespective of mobile operators. Last but not least, I hope everyone enjoys this year's rendition of Snowed In - and 'play' a small part in stopping climate change!"

Chillingo Ltd is a privately owned company in the United Kingdom.
The company was founded as a content agnostic company, covering all aspects of the mobile content value chain. Chillingo runs clickgamer.com, clickapps.com and clickbands.com.
