Easy integration of games into social networking sites is now provided by OpenGame. Social networking sites continuously struggle to find methods that can keep their users busy, occupied and that would make them come back once there. It seems that computer games would do that, as the users would feel the need to beat a high score, according to the president of  YUNiTi,  Marcos Boyington.

Thus,  the OpenGame API has been developped by YUNiTi in collaboration with  TheGameHomepage.com. This feature will allow for game scores to be integrated in any of the social networking sites. Moreover, due to the  advanced score encryption and server-side score verification used by OpenGame, cheating will slowly become an unfamiliar word to game players.

YUNiTi.com has decided to already integrate OpenGame into their site. Thus, its users now have the opportunity of building records and high scores. In addition, they can see the games played by their friends and maybe get inspired. Gaz Thomas, president at TheGameHomepage.com, announces one of the other future projects, namely the integration of scores.

Moreover, given the fact that YUNiTi.com wants to provide game score integration, it plans  to make OpenGame Server available to any gaming site.

Boyington also stated:
"Gaz and I are really excited about this new feature. People of all ages like to play games, and competing for high scores with friends makes it that much more fun."

YUNiTi (
YUNiTi.com ), a social networking site launched in November 2006, aims to be intuitive, friendly, and safe. It was started by Marcos Boyington and Mateus Boyington, with no external funding of any kind. YUNiTi's goal is constantly innovate, setting the curve for all social networking sites. YUNiTi is a privately held partnership headquartered in Riverside, Calif., and can be viewed at YUNiTi Social Networking Home.

TheGameHomepage.com (TheGameHomepage.com ) is a free online gaming site launched in October 2006. It is run as a sole trader owned by Gaz Thomas and is headquartered in Ipswich, U.K. The Game Homepage can be viewed at The Game Homepage Home.
