ExpesiteLite Project Management Suite - Web-Based Project Management Solution

Expesite has announced the release date of ExpesiteLite - a suite of new offerings - beginning with its Architect & Engineer Edition, which is slated to be available on June 30th of this year. The solution delivers an out-of-the-box, web-based project management solution for project portfolios smaller in scale. Over the past five months, the company has been working with several mid-sized architectural and engineering firms to test drive the product in anticipation of the late June release.

ExpesiteLite will be offered at a monthly subscription price and feature set within the reach of small- to medium-sized firms.
The solution brings project information, documents and people together - and provides the ability for Architects and Engineers to communicate and collaborate directly with their clients on key projects. ExpesiteLite is based on the same codebase as the company's flagship product, Expesite, which is used by many of the nation's top retail, restaurant, financial service and commercial development companies.

"We've received tremendous user response to the solution,"
cites Jeff Sopp, Expesite's CEO, "and we're very excited to deliver a technology platform designed and priced to help small- to medium-sized firms achieve project success." Sopp says the company is already in the planning stages to release future versions of ExpesiteLite for franchises, general contractors and service providers, but has not commented on expected availability of these offerings.

John Miologos, AIA, Sr. VP of Architectural Services for WD Partners,
a multi-unit retail design and development firm, believes Expesite's latest offering will fill a void in the market. "Smaller architecture and engineering firms haven't had many options," says Miologos, "...[they rely] on a variety of non-secure electronic communications and express courier services to collaborate with both internal and external project stakeholders." Dennis Susa, Expesite's VP of Corporate Development adds, "...the value proposition for Architects and Engineers is the ability to differentiate their offerings by providing clients ready access to the most current project information."

The first release of the offering will be targeted to firms that are currently sharing information with their clients and consultants via email
, fax, FTP sites, express mail services and spreadsheets. ExpesiteLite is designed to bring project information, documents and people together – and provide the ability for Architects and Engineers to communicate and collaborate directly with their clients to deliver successful projects. ExpesiteLite is designed for firms that have 25 active projects or less to manage at any one time – and allows up to 40 users to access the system. Future releases will include ExpesiteLite Service Provider Edition and ExpesiteLite Small Developer/Contractor Edition.

The security and functionality of the ExpesiteLite promises to provide users with a new level of productivity and cost savings
in project delivery. As firms grow, the company plans to offer upgrades to its core application. ExpesiteLite is designed for firms that have 25 active projects or less - and allows up to 40 users to access the system.
