The SKyCOM™ Unified Communications application that integrates with Novell GroupWise to provide Voice over IP services for voice and messaging communications has been announced by SKyPRO ™ AG. While lowering communications costs for companies, SKyCOM delivers improved user productivity and convenience.

By using the PC as the single interface for all communications SKyCOM increases user productivity. GroupWise integration enables the user to track all communications and use GroupWise as a simple CRM tool.

SKyPRO will work with existing VoIP server hardware from vendors such as Cisco® or equally well with the Asterisk® Open Source telephony server. A company can avoid large investments for an upgrade to an IP-PBX or expensive IP Phones by using the Asterisk telephony server in combination with SKyCOM.
