The leading international honor for the Web, The Webby Awards, recognized today SolutionSet clients Kaboose, Education.com, and Dillon's List as winners in the Community, Education, Family/Parenting, and Personal Website categories. The websites were named Official Honorees, a distinction that recognizes work exhibiting remarkable achievement. The work is produced and managed by The Brand Technology Company, headquartered in Palo Alto with offices in San Francisco, SolutionSet.

Including Online Film & Video, Interactive Advertising, Websites, and Mobile Websites, the Webby Awards, hailed as the "Oscars of the Internet" by The New York Times, is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. The awards are judged by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a global organization that includes AKQA Global Creative Director Rei Inamoto, Arianna Huffington, Harvey Weinstein, David Bowie, Matt Groening, Jamie Oliver, Internet inventor Vinton Cerf, and RealNetworks CEO Rob Glaser.

Executive director of The Webby Awards, David-Michel Davies, said: "The Webby Awards honors the outstanding work that is setting the standards for the Internet". "SolutionSet's Official Honoree selections are a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of their creators."

Being the largest independent family focused online media company in North America and one of the top-five most visited family destinations online, Kaboose earned an honor in the Community category. Kaboose, grom pregnancy to parenting, birthday parties to scrapbooking, and entertainment to education, has the content and applications to help parents plan and share their family life. SolutionSet employed its enterprise-level Community Services Platform technology for Kaboose and developed content management, social networking and community tools, and the technical architecture for the portal.

Being a premiere online resource combines authoritative reference content and compelling editorial with engaging social networking tools to create a vibrant community for parents with kids in preschool through grade 12, Education.com earned two awards in the Education and Family/Parenting categories.
