iamba Networks announced it will participate at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition (OFC) and the National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (NFOEC), February 26-28, 2008 in San Diego. The company will be demonstrating the fastest throughput and lowest power GPON triple play using the iamba GPON Eco-System (iGES) in booth 236.

At the conference the company will highlight its iSN1000 family of GPON ONT ASICs recently announced on January 21, 2008.
The iSN1000 family includes three SoCs for three types of ONTs: the iSN1000F for Single Family Units, the iSN1000T for small office, home offices, and the iSN1000D for Multi Dwelling Units. iamba brings to Telecom System Manufacturers (TEMs) and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) the iGES, iamba GPON Eco-System, a complete end-to-end GPON solution suite. Entirely based on iamba’s own technology, the iGES includes the OLT-Core, and the ONT-Suite, the iSN1000 ONT SoC (System on Chip) based ONT solution.

The iSN1000 family of ASICs is part of the iamba GPON Eco-System solution comprised of next generation ASICs for ONTs
and for the OLT, a comprehensive set of software packages, evaluation units and production-ready reference designs.

The iGES solution is based on iamba's high-performance, highly integrated SoCs and offers a complete solution for OLT and ONT system
vendors. Using iamba's iGES solution TEMs can skip the costly product design, test, verification and certification phases and move directly to the production phase and product delivery, significantly reducing time-to-market, development risks and cost.

The OLT-Core is a complete GPON front-end solution for OLT blades, based on iamba’s iSL2400 OLT SoCs
and supported by system level software modules comprising of the iLOM (iamba OLT OMCI Management) module and the  iDBA ( iamba Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation) module. Also included in the OLT-Core is a complete reference design for the GPON section for OLT blades and the highly versatile iLDS2404 GPON OLT Development System.

The ONT-Suite is based on iamba’s  iSN1000 ONT SoC product family comprised of the iSN1000F, the iSN1000T and the iSN1000D
, all high performance SoCs optimized respectively for the SFU, the SBU/SOHO and the MDU market segments. The ONT-Suite also includes iamba developed leading edge system level software packages the iNOM (iamba ONT OMCI) software package, and application software packages the iVoIP ( iamba VoIP) software package,  and the iPTV (iamba IPTV) software package.
