Insight Personal Edition Introduced by Altosoft  » read source
The release of Insight Personal Edition (Insight PE), a complete personal dashboard and analysis application has been announced by an innovative provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, Altosoft. Altosoft, in order to demonstrate the superiority of Altosoft’s approach to dashboard development, is offering Insight PE to qualified users completely free of charge. Altosoft, at the same time, is launching the Altosoft Community, an interactive forum created all Altosoft users (including Insight PE users) for sharing Altosoft-related knowledge and best practices.

Insight PE is installed on a user’s personal computer. Users can develop web dashboards for monitoring and analyzing business data in just minutes. Dashboard development is web-based, 100% codeless, and leverages Altosoft’s unique, drag-and-drop AJAX-based dashboard designer. Insight PE dashboards incorporate dynamic, drillable Flash components for crystal-clear data visualization and dimensional analysis. Including databases like Oracle and SQL Server, applications like Microsoft Excel, or even existing data warehouses and data marts, a user can connect to and visualize data from one or many data sources, with Insight PE.

Users can directly experience the speed and efficiency of Altosoft’s technology with Insight PE, and discover how it takes just minutes to go from a clean install to powerful, interactive dashboards.

Altosoft, concurrent with the release of Insight PE, is also launching the Altosoft Community, an interactive discussion board specifically designed to enable Insight users to share best practices, work together to solve problems, and transfer knowledge about business intelligence in general and Altosoft in particular. In addition to Altosoft users and partners, Altosoft employees are active participants on the site in order to facilitate discussion and ensure that the Community operates as an effective mechanism for Altosoft-related education and support. The Altosoft Community is publicly accessible.
