International Recognition from IBM Received by One Point Solutions  » read source
One Point Solutions, a leading business intelligence solutions provider and IBM database specialist, for the third straight year, was named a finalist for IBM's 2008 Distinguished Achievement Award for Information Management Business Partners. The company is one of only three partners out of 35,000 in North America to receive this honor, which is awarded because of its solid year-to-year growth and its focus on IBM data-related software/services over the past 11 years. One Point provides turnkey solutions from IBM, Cognos, Informix, DB2 UDB, and IBM Infosphere Warehouse.

IBM business partners that promote IBM's Information Management position in the marketplace and are considered rising stars among their peers are recognized by this award. Criteria includes ability to open new regional markets, creation of new customers, revenue attainment, innovation in business intelligence, and database technology, and maintaining an excellent stature in IBM's business partner community. One Point has surpassed many larger competitors in the field in being considered for this award.

IBM has recognized One Point's excellence as a business partner for four of the past five years. The company was selected in 2004 from over 35,000 businesses for IBM's worldwide award for data management partners, and in 2006, 2007 and 2008 One Point was named as a North American finalist.

President and founder of One Point, Ron Flannery, attributes the company's continued success to a strong commitment to serve as the "one point of contact" for its clients. "We have an intense focus on being a valued partner for small- and medium-sized businesses seeking database and reporting solutions. These types of businesses can't afford a large staff or dealing with multiple vendors," said Flannery. "Clients and business partners alike, including IBM, recognize One Point's ability to deliver effective information management services and IBM data product licensing."
