Focused on a Web-based implementation of its proven IT Asset Management solution set, Vector Networks Inc announced today an initiative to develop new partnerships with Managed Service Providers. Vector, having trialled the Web implementation extensively in its customer base in mid-range enterprises, identified the match of the technology with the needs of MSPs serving the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market.
By licensing the recently released Application Jukebox application streaming platform, for which Vector recently became an Integration Partner with Endeavors Inc., Service Provider partners will also be encouraged to expand their offering to their SMB customers.
Vector has appointed Annabel Devonshire, in the North American market, to lead the MSP recruitment drive. Annabel brings over twenty years experience in the development on national and international partner and franchise networks, many revolving around the products of major players such as IBM. "After working for a long time with highly visible product sets from major companies, I am relishing the opportunity to help take Vector's technology to the wider market that it deserves. It is great to be working with such a committed team and such strong technology", says Annabel.
App Jukebox is a natural progression for anyone determined to reduce their software licensing and maintenance costs, once the Software Asset Optimisation process has indicated the true nature of application usage. It also functions well in distributed Web-based scenarios, and is natural extension of Vector's MSP Asset Management toolset.
Vector will be working closely in Europe with its exclusive EMEA partner Virtual Network Partners (VNP) http://www.virtualnetworkpartners.eu . The team at VNP, With ten years' experience in Vector's solutions, is also establishing itself as a center of excellence in the deployment and support of App. Jukebox.
