The fact that Fionn Hyndman has been awarded the post of CEO of the dgmGroup and will be leaving Sydney to reside at HQ in Singapore in October 2008 has been announced by dgmGroup. With 4 further new offices launching in the coming months, as well as key new product and technology roll outs, the implications of his new role means Fionn is taking control of all Asian Pacific offices which include Singapore, Australia, Delhi and Mumbai.
From his post as General Manager, Fionn's promotion means Craig Ellis has moved into the role of Managing Director of dgmAustralia. Craig, as one of the early starters at dgm, celebrated his 10 years in the Australian online industry last September and has definitely seen some changes in both the industry and dgm. It is the fine balancing act between Hyndman and Ellis, the two directors, as opposites that has delivered the high level of success dgm continues to enjoy.
At a critical time in the Australia digital industries history, Ellis is now charged with continuing the success of the dgmAustralia story. In the quality of recent recruits who have joined the dgmAustralia ranks is reflected Craig's focus on the reputation of the business and protecting the company's position in the market.
Head of Search, Emma Newman, has taken on a newly created role as Head of Client Education and Projects which focuses on the development and further education of dgmAustralia's existing search clients and partner agencies. Gary Nissin, formerly Business Development Director at 24/7 Australia, as a result, has joined dgmAustralia, in the position of Head of Search.
dgmAustralia, under Ellis's charge recently won some substantial new client wins for the business. dgmAustralia, after a 4 way competitive pitch, will now be representing Tourism Western Australia search business in partnership with NetX. Further new client wins include STA Travel and Suncorp.
