KoolTrax – New Affordable GPS Phone Tracker

A unique software download called "KoolTrax" turns your mobile phone or PDA into a GPS tracker, enabling its exact location to be monitored on the Internet. Currently KoolTrax requires Windows Mobile 5+. A Java version is in the pipeline too. Of course, your mobile or PDA will need GPS capability too.Now you don't need to carry around a dedicated tracking device. You can access a new level of mobile content, and you've every excuse to get a state of the art mobile device. At just £39.95 this is mobile content at its best.

Tracking with KoolTrax is live and continuous.
This means that you can see where the phone is all the time, and you can use Blue Tree's "BlueMap" GPS tracking software to do things like set geofences, see the breadcrumb trail and set up contacts to receive alerts. KoolTrax provides GPS accuracy, about four metres in any direction, enough to tell between different rooms in a normal house.

Their typical accuracy is about 400 metres in any direction, which forms an area the size of forty football pitches
or the area of most town centres. That's if the target phone can get a signal. They are 'on request' devices, so you can't set up alerts or view a breadcrumb trail. Most people know about standard phone tracking services, however what they do not realise is that they don't really work because they are inaccurate.

"We have for some time provided tracking systems for people who do not, or will not carry mobile phones.
KoolTrax is a natural extension of the services we provide. Anyone with a compatible phone can have tracking as an option, ready for the day you go trekking, climbing, sailing, or simply want to let your family know when you will be home. We will also be releasing KoolTrax Friends in the next few months which will link all your friends and their locations to you. This is a very exciting time for Blue Tree Services," said Mike Smuts, Managing Director of Blue Tree Services.

Everyone is somewhere. Personal GPS location systems let us take care of those we love and ensure workers and others are safe.
Increasingly people are using these systems for pleasure and lifestyle: finding their friends and networking in busy towns and cities and at events. KoolTrax is new software from Blue Tree Services that helps you convert your mobile phone into a GPS tracking device. Take the opportunity to get yourself a state of the art mobile phone with GPS capability, convert it into a tracker.

Uses include:

    - Parents knowing where their children are
    - Family members letting their family know where they are
    - Sports men and women tracking their progress
    - Lone workers using their phone as a safety system

Key features include:

    - No limit to the number of KoolTrax you can watch on your PC
    - An alert button - for emergencies
    - Boundary alerts
    - Breadcrumb trail history for up to a month
