Support for the Kyocera 5.7 inch 640x480 panel was announced by Digital View. This Kyocera LCD module has been specifically designed for use in electronic devices and industrial machines in the area of audio control, industrial control, office automation, and home appliances.The panel is well matched with the high-performance Digital View DVS-1600. Along with wide range of video modes, the DVS-1600's flexible port architecture provides physical inputs for S-Video, VGA, DVI, and Composite Video. A genuine versatile solution for both new mainstream and legacy applications is provided by this array of inputs combined into a single controller.
Comming pre-programmed to support a wide range of panel models and resolutions that are selectable via switches, the DVS-1600 supports panel resolutions from VGA (640 x 480 pixels) all the way up to UXGA (1600 x1200), as well as panel formats of 4:3, 5:4, 16:9, and 16:10. When needed, new panel timing and other features may be updated via the controller's serial port.
Built in support for a wide range of industry standard VESA timing modes, plus support of legacy video modes such as Sync-On-Green and Composite Sync are other features of the DVS-1600. The controller is built around a highly integrated chip set for a low component count and high product reliability and a 3-year warranty.
