NetDimensions, a developer of learning, knowledge and performance management systems, announced the launch of a hosted learning service for Progress Software Corporation, a global supplier of application infrastructure software used to develop, deploy, integrate and manage business applications.

Progress Software Corporate Education Manager Michael Archdeacon commented: "We are expecting a high volume of sales of NetDimensions-based online learning and for it to become a significant benefit for our customers. It took less than a month to complete initial training and be ready to accept customer orders. The NetDimensions team provided us with full support, completed the initial projects on time, and operated within our defined budgets.

These Progress Application Partners have developed and deployed over 5,000 different applications, which are used in over 60,000 organizations around the world and have been deployed at more than 110,000 locations. Progress Software and its Application Partners deploy applications at 10,000 new sites and add 600,000 new users every year. Progress Software has more than 2,000 Application Partners (independent Software Vendors), who have combined the strength of Progress Software's technology with their specialization in building core applications.

For NetDimensions the launch of the Progress Software service follows client wins with Midwest Airlines, Lenovo and Shanghai Airlines and an initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market in May 2007. Under the agreement, NetDimensions will provide Progress Software with hosted services for an initial two-year period. Financial terms were not disclosed.
