The free and legal ad-supported music experience, SpiralFrog (http://www.spiralfrog.com ), announced a licensing agreement with a premier provider of technology solutions to the entertainment industry, called RoyaltyShare. RoyaltyShare’s leading independent record label customers, will now be able, as a result of the agreement, to leverage its Content Management Service to deliver content directly to SpiralFrog, making thousands of additional songs available for download on the SpiralFrog site.

Founder and chairman of SpiralFrog, Joe Mohen, said: “We are pleased to announce our partnership with RoyaltyShare”.  “Our ability to provide music from the record labels and distributors currently utilizing RoyaltyShare’s services will significantly increase SpiralFrog’s music offerings across many genres.”

Including the delivery of content to leading services such as SpiralFrog, RoyaltyShare’s recently announced Content Management Service provides record labels and distributors with a cost-effective way to manage the complexities of the digital sales process.

Chairman and CEO of RoyaltyShare, Bob Kohn, said: “SpiralFrog is creating a valuable new distribution channel for digital music, and our customers will benefit from this agreement”. “SpiralFrog has taken the ad-supported model and made it a viable alternative to illicit file-sharing and pirate sites, which is good news for all participants in the digital music supply chain.”

A comprehensive music experience that allows music fans to discover reviews, artist bios, music news, music videos, albums, songs, discographies and album art, among other rich content features is provided by SpiralFrog, and also lets users create playlists and use a Facebook application that allows them to track the most popular downloads on the site.

Unlimited downloading of free and legal music compositions and music videos is offered by SpiralFrog to music enthusiasts.
With new content added weekly, SpiralFrog enables anyone to access and download files from a library of more than 1.1 million songs and 4,000 thousand music videos. Users must only fill out a simple and quick registration form to access the free content. Users see, as part of the SpiralFrog experience, relevant, targeted advertising that does not interfere with their enjoyment of music.

Songs and videos downloaded on SpiralFrog will play on Windows PCs running XP and Vista, and members can download to their PCs and synchronize their music with portable music players or music-enabled phones that support Windows Media digital rights management.
