Janam Technologies LLC, a provider of rugged mobile computers that scan barcodes and communicate wirelessly, announced that Living Naturally, the provider of technology and marketing solutions to the natural product industry, selected the Palm OS- based XP20 handheld for its advanced customer management and field sales ordering system.

"Our Scan Genius solution continues to have tremendous impact on sales force productivity,
ranging from time savings during in-store inventory and order taking to the near elimination of order-related errors," stated Jim Sheehan, B2B Product Manager, of Living Naturally. "We are pleased that Janam's XP20 protects our investment in this winning barcode-based software solution with a mobile device that is smaller, lighter, faster and just as rugged as legacy Palm platforms."

Janam designed the XP20 to execute mission-critical, data collection tasks in the enterprise.
Every element of the product’s form and function has a purpose. For example, the XP20 Series’ custom, “bright-white”, monochrome display was created because it offers the same 160x160 screen resolution as legacy Palm OS products, thereby facilitating application migration across hardware platforms. At the same time, the XP20 Series also delivers significant improvements over legacy Palm OS products, each one aimed at extending the product’s reach into the enterprise. Customers no longer need to compromise on features like numeric keypad, 2D barcode scanning, permanent memory backup of applications and data, keypad backlighting, WLAN security, battery capacity and many more.

"We are proud that Living Naturally, a company that is clearly a vanguard in the area of mobile data-capture technology solutions
, selected Janam's XP20," said Dwight Ogletree, VP of Sales for Janam Technologies. "Living Naturally and its customers understand better than most the benefits of a fully featured, lightweight yet rugged handheld device with superior scanning capabilities, and we are very pleased that Janam's rugged XP20 delivers the power and performance that positively showcase the advantages of Living Naturally's Scan Genius ordering system."
