Lumeta announced the immediate availability of the latest version of its flagship solution: IPsonar 4.0. The solution allows organizations to balance network change with risk management and compliance imperatives, enabling them to obtain complete visibility into network connectivity and behavior. Lumeta IPsonar 4.0 is available immediately, with pricing beginning at $75,000. Pricing is dependent on the size of the network and number of connections under management.

    With this release, Lumeta has made IPsonar easier to use, allowing IT personnel to quickly discover critical network information, including all assets, both managed and unmanaged. In addition, the increased ability to scale across large enterprises helps managers and administrators instantly understand their network environment, thereby extending the value of Network Assurance data across the risk and IT management lifecycles.

    IPsonar 4.0 enables large organizations to quickly create a visual representation of all assets on the network, in addition to mapping the connectivity between those assets. A new SOA Reporting Platform offers greater flexibility, scalability, and performance. MapViewer empowers users to connect directly to IPsonar reports, allowing the use of powerful visual analytics to examine multiple reports simultaneously. New database-driven reporting available with both the IPsonar 4.0 and Lumeta's MapViewer increases usability and functionality, and an improved high-end report server provides greater detail and insight into the network infrastructure and potential issues.

    Organizations must understand their network inventory and have a comprehensive view of connectivity in order to manage compliance, governance, security, and cost management initiatives. Now, this understanding can be easily achieved by using IPsonar 4.0 to create a baseline of network assets and risk.
