Official support for the Mac OS X operating system for its line embedded systems development tools has been proudly announced by Total Phase. Total Phase, by adding to the current Windows and Linux support, becomes one of the few test and measurement companies to support all three major operating systems.

Senior Engineer at Total Phase, Derek Fung, declared: "We've had Windows and Linux support from the very beginning, but customers have been asking when we would add Mac support." He added: "Since our tools are designed to be cross-platform, we are happy to finally address this interest."

Total Phase will initially release Mac OS X support for the Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer, the Beagle I2C/SPI/MDIO Protocol Analyzer and the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter. The software will be compatible with any Intel-based Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.4.11 and above. All of Total Phase's API and graphical application software will be included in subsequent releases.

Total Phase manufactures powerful and affordable MDIO, SPI, I2C, and USB development tools for the embedded systems engineer. Making them perfect additions to any engineer's toolbox, the entire line of developer tools combines best-of-breed features, royalty-free API, Windows and Linux support, and free software updates.
