Model 645 Arbitrary Waveform Generator From BNC  » read source

Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation is a major manufacturer of accuracy electronic instrumentation for test, measurement and nuclear research. Founded in 1960, BNC originally developed custom pulse generators. The Company progressively became known for meeting demands for high precision and stability, and for supplying instruments of unsurpassed reliability and performance. The Company maintains an international network of manufacturer's representatives - including Optilas, Canberra Packard, ORTEC, Coherent and Seiko - to offer precision instrumentation needs globally.

BNC is releasing a new product line for 2009. The first model being released is the highly awaited 50 MHz Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG), Model 645. Berkeley Nucleonics Model 645 is able to concentrate on many various applications such as benchtop research and development, radar simulation, circuit testing, custom waveform generation and throughput and response measurements.

"The new millennia delivered many advancements in component manufacturing, quality assurance, failure analysis, and precision timing requirements. Similar to the markets addressed by Digital Delay and Pulse Generators offered by BNC, scientists using AWG also need to provide an increased level of analysis. The Model 645 is able to provide research scientists with easy to use features along with the advanced specifications they require", declared applications Manager, John Yee.

The new Model 645 includes many new characteristics like 50MHz sine waves and 10MHz Arbitrary Waveforms. The feature packed line of ARBs from Berkeley Nucleonics also provides conventional ability with more precision and speed (Pulse, Ramp, Triangle, Noise, DC Waveforms; AM, FM, PM (PSK), FSK & PWM Modulation, Linear & Logarithmic Sweeps & Burst). The company offers USB, LAN or GPIB remote operation, and an updated version of WaveCrafter.

One unit costs $1,465.00 for domestic shipments, the same price as the predecessor Model 632. Equipped with new features and at the same price, the Model 645 is a great option for increasing benchtop instrumentation demands.

About Berkeley Nucleonics - BNC is a leading manufacturer of precision electronic instrumentation for test, measurement, and nuclear research. BNC continues to maintain a leadership position in development of custom pulse, signal, light, and function generators. BNC designs incorporate the latest innovations in software and hardware engineering, surface mount production, and automated testing procedures.
