Network Liquidators CEO Named Entrepreneur of the Year

The Gulf Coast Business Review names founder and CEO of Network Liquidators (http://www.networkliquidators.com), Barry Shevlin, the overall 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year.
   
Shevlin declared: "I am pleased and honored to be named Entrepreneur of the Year". "I think it demonstrates how dreams, perseverance and assembling a great team such as we have at Network Liquidators can poise a company for success and even greater future growth."
   
Since its inception in 2001, Network Liquidators, as one of the nation's largest buyers and sellers of pre-owned networking and telecommunications equipment, has grown substantially. The company grew, with revenues of approximately $6 million in 2004, to revenues in excess of $44 million in 2007. While the Company is on target to exceed $68 million in 2008 and reach an anticipated $120 million in 2009, the Company appeared, in 2006, as #95 on the Inc. 500 list with three-year growth of 895.1 percent and in 2007 was named the 5th fastest growing company in the Tampa Bay Business Journal's "Fast 50" list, increasing 163.3 percent over 2006.
   
Network Liquidators is one of the nation's largest sources for the purchase and sale of high quality pre-owned networking and telecommunications equipment from manufacturers such as Nortel Networks,Cisco Systems,  Avaya and Polycom. Network Liquidators, with a trademark of exceptional service and support, serves more than 12,000 end-user and reseller customers in more than 20 countries and includes a lifetime warranty. Along with converting out-of-service or decommissioned equipment into cash, the Company assists customers in developing dependable solutions at a reasonable total cost of ownership. Network Liquidators, founded in 2001, is based in Oldsmar, Fla. The Company debuted on the Inc. 500 in 2006, and management has driven revenue to more than $40 million in six years.
