ZeNETeX, LLC announced that it has expanded its public IT Service Management Training Services to include a new certification class entitled 'Foundation in IT Service Management According to ISO/IEC 20000.' This newly released class is an individual certification for IT leaders that are directly involved in helping their organizations achieve the highly coveted ISO/IEC 20000 certification.
Organizations that have achieved an ISO/IEC 20000 certification have successfully demonstrated an ability to support and deliver IT services in accordance with a well defined industry recognized standard based in large part on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library. The successful implementation of ITIL has proven to reduce operational costs and improve process efficiencies and end user satisfaction. The 2.5 day class will familiarize students with the basic objectives and contents of the ISO/IEC 20000 standard, the requirements, guidance and recommendations as described in the standard.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student receives an ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation individual certification from EXIN. Obtaining the individual certification will help students successfully implement the standards and meet ISO/IEC 20000 requirements. Obtaining the ISO/IEC 20000 organizational certification will help a specific program or IT Department improve service quality management and operational effectiveness and efficiency.The certification is suitable for a wide range of professionals: operational staff, team leaders, supervisors, managers, consultants, auditors, Division Chiefs, Contracting Officers, and COTRs.
