PreVisor, a employment assessments and selection solutions that connect hiring decisions to business results, announced the availability of InterView 2.0, a powerful new version of the company's online structured interview suite. Other core features: Pre-built, job-specific interview guides, hundreds of interview questions specific to job families, and automatic integration with PreVisor's assessment library.
New capabilities available in InterView 2.0, include an administrator dashboard which allows a single, integrated view of candidates assessment scores along with interview ratings, online data integration from multiple interviews, and stack ranking of the results. PreVisor's InterView solution is a flexible system that helps build structured, behavioral, and consistent interview guides. Using a competency-based solution enables organizations to overcome many of the challenges faced in interview processes today, such as competition for top talent, compliance with state and federal hiring laws, and getting meaningful interview answers that can be correlated with job performance.
"Structured behavioral interviewing is nothing new. It's acknowledged to be the most consistent and legally sound interview method for hiring. What PreVisor has done is create a more accessible, flexible and easier to use product than what's currently available, without sacrificing accuracy or power," explained Kurt Ballard, CMO and SVP of Sales. "We focused on involving our clients in the product design phase to make sure we delivered what they were looking for - ease of use being high on the list."
HR executives estimated that in addition to providing consistency and improved performance measurement in the hiring process, it reduced the time of each interview by approximately 30 minutes. InterView 1.0 was used in 2006 successfully by one global financial services organization to generate more than 2400 interview guides. With more than 15,000 new hires in 2006 and several times more interviews conducted to fill these positions, time savings added up quickly.
According to Natalie Mauldin, PreVisor Product Manager, "We have a great advantage today with our on-demand software technology. InterView is not an adaptation of a legacy system, but a fresh, user-friendly answer to behavior-based interviewing. We listened to our clients and built the enhancements included in the new version, particularly the ability to see a single aggregate score for both the interview and test results for each candidate."
InterView 2.0 can be used alone or as part of a larger selection solution. Data reporting is real-time and results can be shared with applicant tracking or other HRIS systems. PreVisor helps organizations by connecting hiring decisions with business results. Following the rigorous standards of industrial-organizational psychology, PreVisor's assessment content accurately predicts on-the-job performance and supports fair hiring practices. PreVisor's solutions help streamline hiring, reduce recruiting and training costs.
