Cadre Technologies has added a supply chain management and logistics software provider, to its growing portfolio of warehouse clients with the addition of LogistiCorp, LLC. LogistiCorp will implement Cadre's integrated supply chain management software Cadence®. LogistiCorp, LLC, founded in 1998 in Dallas, Texas, provides transportation management, dedicated fleet services and value-added reseller (VAR) services to a variety of customers in the medical, semi-conductor and electronics industries. LogistiCorp needed a comprehensive warehouse management system (WMS) to manage all its warehouse functions, including warehousing, purchasing, reselling and delivering products, using a single, dedicated software product.
With features like wireless bar-code scanning and movable units, centralized data, Cadre's Cadence WMS fit the bill. Driving flexibility and increased productivity into its logistics approach, cadence lets LogistiCorp warehouse employees complete fulfillment activities over the Web. Ed Franco, vice president of customer solutions for LogistiCorp said: "Cadence gives our warehouse team the tools they need to succeed in a fast-growing and ever-changing warehouse environment". "The product is great, and the real heroes are Cadre's people. Their professionalism will deliver great value for LogistiCorp and for Cadre."
The Cadence order management system turns the fulfillment process into one streamlined logistics solution for VARs like LogistiCorp. Warehouse and transportation management and billing processes are delivered in real-time with Web-based inventory visibility from anywhere in the warehouse. These features will help LogistiCorp improve effectiveness of warehouse and inventory management, particularly important when working with high-profile sellers like Alcatel and AT&T, two of LogistiCorp's clients.
"Our Cadence software package gives a competitive advantage to resellers like LogistiCorp that must exceed customer expectations in the warehouse space. Implementing a complete WMS like Cadence keeps LogistiCorp on top of warehouse inventory to provide sophisticated data to the companies whose products they sell", remarked Mike Markham, vice president of sales for Cadre Technologies.
