A leading provider of Web-based email marketing tools, Benchmark Email, has launched a Web 2.0. editor for creating and adjusting email layouts and templates, Email Builder. Email Builder, conceived and tested with usability and easy navigation in mind, enables Benchmark Email customers to construct and arrange their layouts using drag-and-drop techniques, check the spelling of their email copy, and see if their email templates contain wording that may set off spam filters, all on the same Web page.

CEO of Benchmark Internet Group, Curt Keller, declared: "We are extremely proud to introduce Email Builder, a next generation email editing tool." "Email Builder was built from the ground up by a team of award-winning developers and was created with a lot of input from our customers. Thanks to this collaboration, Email Builder provides an unprecedented ease of use and the very features our customers really want."

While new customers will start by using Email Builder as soon as they sign up, Benchmark's current customers have the choice of staying with the current email editor or using Email Builder. Benchmark's design team, to adjust to the sophistication of the new template tool, built dozens of new email templates based on a wide variety of themes. Email Builder users have the choice of building templates from scratch, uploading their own, or using the new templates from the Benchmark Email library.

The Long Beach, Calif.-based Benchmark Internet Group, founded in 2003, provides affordable, user friendly, Internet-based marketing tools. As a leading software-as-a-service provider, the company's portal-based products include Benchmark Email, an elite email marketing system, and Benchmark Rich Media, a video email and streaming movie hosting service.
