Objectivity/DB has been selected by Synchro Ltd. as the data management platform that will enable major advances in Synchro's line of 4D project simulation and management tools.

With Synchro, an entire construction delivery team-owners, contractors, operators, architects, engineers, sub-contractors, manufacturers and materials suppliers-can share a single view of the entire project in real time. By synchronizing design, supply chain management, planning and scheduling, risk management and earned value measurement, Synchro offers an enhanced visual simulation approach to the management of construction projects.

For developing innovation technology for large, complex or repeatable construction projects seeking continuous performance improvements throughout the UK and in 2007 began worldwide distribution of its third generation of products, Synchro has achieved an impressive track record.

The company will launch, in September 2008, an enterprise version of the products, which will meet enterprise scalability requirements. The move will allow the UK-based company to scale the software tools for the largest most complex projects in the construction industry worldwide.

Synchro, with Objectivity/DB acting as its core data storage platform, can connect existing projects to third party products and import data directly into Objectivity/DB, leading to faster, more accurate analysis of the project delivery approaches.
