Groups of people who have taken part in a special event, such as graduation, a wedding or arrival of a new baby are enabled by Event archiving to contribute their digital memories to a personal online archive that celebrates that event. Through a gift certificate that they can purchase online or as a specialty gift card, friends and family can give the celebrants an event archive from Our Favorite Moments. Exclusively through retail partners nationwide by late Q3 2008, both options will be available.

Especially useful for last minute gift-giving, the online gift certificates can be emailed or downloaded and printed instantly. Select retailers will sell finely crafted event archive gift cards in stores and on their own Web sites as well. Including 100% recycled paper, and come with an envelope and idea booklet, the cards, which can be hand-delivered or mailed, are made of green materials. Each archive is prepaid for a year and will have a suggested retail price of approximately $60; each includes enough space to hold thousands of videos, digital photos and more. With New Baby and other themes rolling out by year's end, the first Our Favorite Moments event archives will be Wedding-themed.

While still enjoying unlimited sharing with friends and family, archive owners can fully control access to their password-protected and backed-up accounts. Prints, photo books and other gift products may also be ordered and shipped on demand through each event archive.
