Pocket dbExplorer 3.0 - Management Utility For Microsoft Windows-Based Mobile Devices  » read source
    PhatWare Corporation, announces the release of Pocket dbExplorer 3.0, an advanced database management utility for Microsoft Windows-based mobile devices. Pocket dbExplorer also allows backup and restoring of one or more databases as well as system registry settings to a file, which can be stored on the flash memory card or copied onto a desktop PC. Further, any database can be exported in comma or tab separated text file through Pocket dbExplorer.

    Pocket dbExplorer is a system utility that allows users to manage Windows Mobile
system and application databases that contain vital device information such as system settings, contacts and appointment lists, emails, etc. While applications like Pocket Outlook allow limited access to some information stored in these databases only Pocket dbExplorer provides the direct access to this information.

    Pocket dbExplorer implements the following database manipulation functions:
View/Edit, Copy, Rename, Delete, Export (as CSV or text), and Transfer (via infrared port). The program also allows the Backup and Restore of one or more databases and registry settings into a file which can be stored on the flash memory card or copied onto the desktop PC. Pocket dbExplorer 3.0 is available now at the list price of $19.95. A free 30-day trial version of Pocket dbExplorer 3.0 can be downloaded from the PhatWare web site.     Any database can be exported as a comma or tab separated text file.
The main new features in the new version are the advanced database editor, ability to open standard object store and external database volume files, support for CEDB and EDB (WM5 or later) database formats, and support for Windows Mobile Smartphones. With Pocket dbExplorer, users can browse, view, copy, edit, transfer between devices via infrared, and export databases located in Microsoft Windows device object store or in a mounted database volume file. Pocket dbExplorer now supports CEDB and EDB database formats and works on both Standard and Professional Windows Mobile based devices.
