The latest product extensions to NetSuite built by NetSuite developer partners using the NetSuite Business Operating System (NS-BOS) has been announced by a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business management software suites for the mid-market enterprise and divisions of large companies, NetSuite Inc. The availability of these solutions was timed to coincide with today's unveiling of NetSuite for Manufacturers, as these new ISV-built solutions are focused on meeting the specific needs of manufacturing companies. SuiteCommerce, Configure One, Omnify Software, and SPS Commerce are the included NetSuite ISV.
NetSuite's Vice President of Product Management, Per Jacobsen, declared: "These partners illustrate the power and flexibility of NetSuite's platform." He adds: "Whether building new vertical solutions, or extending, customizing, and delivering specific industry processes, the NS-BOS development platform enables our partners to focus their energy on building their solutions and business, and not on delivery. This helps them to rapidly expand into increasingly dynamic and vertical markets with best-of-breed functionality."
Companies, in today's dynamic market, require solutions designed for their specific business. To reduce infrastructure costs and allow customers to take advantage of the numerous benefits that SaaS applications offer, ISVs and developers, at the same time, are looking to transition their applications to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). NS-BOS delivers the SaaS development platform that addresses these two growing market trends. NS-BOS, by building on and extending the core of NetSuite, increases ISVs speed-to-market. This is because every vertical application can interact with and leverage the core ERP / CRM / Ecommerce functionality of NetSuite and related data managed by the suite. Rather than spending time on "horizontal" functionality such as quote or order management, this way, developers can focus on their vertical differentiation.
