When customers sign up to T-Mobiles mobile broadband package, PowerupMobile.com are bundling a free Asus Eee PC laptop computer.

Being powerupmobile.com's best selling item this month, this tiny pocket laptop, which is a very affordable laptop weighing in at less than 1kg, and half the size of regular notebooks, is ideally suited for children, and equally popular with adults. It was easily the most wanted Christmas gift across the pond, launched in the US last November. With queues outside high street retailers in the US, and projected sales from ASUS globally for 2008 are in the millions, sales figures reported post launch were hundreds of thousands.

Including built in WiFi, the Eee PC from ASUS is easy to use, portable and has most of the components of a regular laptop. Without waiting till you get home you can share photos of your travels, without attaching lines or wires you can shop the web, play relax and entertain on the go. There is no need to worry about a short battery life because the 2GB mini laptop is shock proof and power efficient. Having most of the components of a regular laptop, the Eee PC from ASUS is easy to use, portable. Having restricted access to certain websites and an easy to use design is popular with parents, and useful in schools, (one US education department allegedly ordered 1300 of them right away for teachers and students). As the PC can be used for schoolwork, projects and research, this new product will benefit academically. The less formative side, is the ability to play and download games, connect with their friends on social network sites such as MSN and Bebo and download the latest videos, music and pictures.

"The Eee PC is good looking, easy to use, fast working and provides every thing you need from a tiny laptop. We are selling them like hotcakes! It's power efficient and with a dependable solid state disk, you get unparalleled shock protection and reliability. It clears up wire clutter with built in card reader, speakers and microphone. I am not surprised they are so popular with a good low entry point price tag, for a very useful piece of kit", commented the entrepreneur behind powerupmobile.com, Jeff Shillitto.
