Dr. Dobb's Jolt Product Excellence Awards have been described by software legend Chad Fowler as "the Oscars of our industry". Each year winners are selected by a panel of judges consisting of industry insiders, columnists, and technology leaders. Jolt judges honor universally useful products that redefine their product space or solve a persistent problem that has consistently eluded other products, products that are both easy to use and full-featured.
