Promotional Products Pricing Reinvented by 4imprint ‘glideSM’

With the introduction of glideSM, an online tool that saves customers money by matching per-item prices with exact quantities ordered, 4imprint, promotional products retailer, is reinventing promotional products pricing.

The exact quantity they want cand now be ordered by customers and immediately get a matching price. Quantities like 25, 50, 100 or 1000 are no longer limiting price breaks.

President, 4imprint, Kevin Lyons-Tarr, said: “Customers felt locked in by pre-set quantities and prices. They had to increase their orders to the next published quantities in order to see a reduction in price. glideSM eliminates this arbitrary inflation”. “If a pen was advertised at .35 for 300 and .25 for 500, customers paid the 300-pen price even if they ordered 364 pens. Now, if you order 364 pens, you get the 364-pen price.”

With an “i” at the center that users slide along a quantity line until they reach the desired number of items, glideSM looks like a volume control. The per-item price changes instantaneously. Customers will see, with many products, a per-item price adjustment even if their order changes by just a few items.

Patent-pending technology developed by 4imprint is used by glideSM.

Lyons-Tarr continued: “This is the B2B equivalent of hot dog and bun makers getting together and agreeing on the number of items to put in each package”. “glideSM eliminates a pain point for customers. It’s a big win. It’s fun to think about how different the world would be if everything worked like glideSM.”
