Every person in the world can now be a reporter unlike ever before. That’s wonderful and also overwhelming. There is so much media out there that we live in a state of constant overload.
One vital role for journalists in the future will be to filter through all of this, finding the best and most relevant media for the important stories of the day. Journalists have always fulfilled this role, and it has become even more crucial now.
But journalists can’t do this alone, given the volume of what’s out there. Technology can help, and that’s where Publitweet comes in. We build tools for journalists and content producers, the first of which are aimed at curating the real-time Web.
We have been Twitter developers since 2007, launching products such as:
* ListiMonkey.com, featured on Mashable, Techcrunch
* Tweetag.com (discontinued in 2009), featured on Techcrunch, PC WORLD
We’re based in San Francisco in the same building as Twitter with a bunch of other companies developing tools for the real-time Web.
