A new blog has been launched by Terrence Real, a famous family therapist and bestselling author, offering readers advice on how to improve their relationships, how to be satisfied with them and how they can achieve what he calls Full Respect Living.
Typepad is the one offering the REAL Advice™ Blog at http://realadvice.typepad.com , featuring regular columns by Terry Real as well as faculty members of The Relational Life Institute. New posts are published weekly every Tuesday morning and will be published twice a week at the beginning of 2008.
Real-life examples are provided by the REAL Advice Blog, trying to help people get over their parenting and relationship issues they have to struggle with daily. Each weekly Blog post addresses a common issue, and concludes with advice and guidance applicable to their own situations based on real-life experience with clients who work with Relational Life Therapists.
But not only common people can get help from this blog, even professionals can find comfort in the REAL Advice Blog, as it offers insights into the practice of Relational Life Therapy, considered by many as a breakthrough approach to both individual and couples counseling. However, RLT is not a common rherapy method, being extremely different from traditional therapy, as it is directive, transparent and relational. Furthermore, RLT is not a transference based therapy, yet at the same time therapists do deal with cognitive change, behavioral change and deep emotional healing.
Terry Real created RLT after more than 25 years of research and private practice as a marriage and family therapist. The therapist community has accepted this therapy method as a more results-oriented model that realizes transformational and long-lasting healing for clients. The new Blog is an extension of the programming and publishing being produced by REAL Relational Solutions and The Relational Life Institute.
