After spending some time playing I was really impressed. Evony is truly in a class of its own. there is no software to download you just go to www.evony.com and register then you can login and play. the game over all is not hard but manages to make it challenging enough to keep you interested. unlike text based games or other mmorpg type games there is always something new to do. It seems like it is a game that never ends as if you would really want it to. you can command troops build resources, join an alliance, go to war with other alliances and plot to take over the world. They give you a daily amulet good for spinning the roulette wheel and gaining some impressive resources like troops, goods and game play aids. The wheel has yet to disappoint me with its offerings. They also have an option to purchase game cents to gain wheel spins and items from the shop. the cents for additional resources are very reasonably priced which is unusual compared to other games I have played where you will spend a small fortune and get almost nothing in return. The best part is that game play is free. There are millions of users over a large number of servers and many opportunities to make friends and acquaintances. The user base is really friendly and most are open to helping out new players. If you do not like the area you are in or join an alliance and want to be closer to them you can use a transport city credit that you get in the beginning to move to another area. You just apply the credit and choose from the list of cities. I joined an alliance in the second day of game play to find allot of support and advice whenever I have needed it. Many others in the alliance have been playing for a while and seem to be really close with not only each other but with people all over in the same server as us as well as people on other servers. There is no way to cheat in the game witch gives a fair advantage to all players. After all there is nothing worse than losing out to someone else who has cheated their way to the top. I have found this game to be so much fun I find my self logging in whenever I get the chance just to see how things are progressing. There are allot of guides available to learn the ropes or improve your style. I would recommend this game to anyone and have already managed to get allot of my friends to sign up who are as impressed as I am. This is by far the best game I have seen in along time.
