Solidica, Inc. announced the award of a multi-year contract with the United States Marine Corps to integrate its market leading Pantheon embedded diagnostic and health monitoring system into a variety of light armored vehicle-based platforms. Based upon Solidica's award winning Chorus vehicle network, sensor interface and vehicle telematics module, the project will support the military's ongoing Condition Based Maintenance and Sense and Respond modernization programs. Solidica further notes that the recently updated Pantheon platform adds several new features designed to expand the technology's use into a wider variety of fleet customer applications that will be unveiled on June 10th at the 2008 Sensors Expo in Chicago.

Dr. Ken Johnson, Solidica CEO notes, "Our technology is in most cases 5-10 years ahead of the current competitive offerings
in this market as we have approached military embedded diagnostics in a fresh and forward-thinking way. Specifically, we have taken the best of Michigan-based automotive advancements, imbued it with deep military domain adaptations, and created an affordable, scalable and open architecture system that addresses the flexibility and ruggedness demanded by this market."

Capable of quickly and affordably converting nearly any mobile or stationary system into a wireless platform, Pantheon
enables customers to remotely monitor and control wireless systems in unprecedented fashion – pushing the frontiers of wireless sensing like never before. Some of the new features include an updated GPS core, 802.11g WiFi and 802.15.4 mesh wireless networks, 8GB of on-board Secure Digital Storage, built-in vehicle network message parsing, RS232, TTL Serial, RS485, Ethernet, USB 2.0, all in addition to an updated military specification housing option and a multi-analog to digital port to interface for use on analog-rich legacy systems.

"We are extremely pleased that the Marine Corps has selected the Pantheon system to support their Sense and Respond vision.
This purchase represents a critical milestone in our pursuit to be the leading provider of military and mobile fleet diagnostic and telematics solutions," said John McGinnis, Vice President for the Pantheon Products Division.

A state-of-the-art network interface, sensor aggregation, data collection, analysis and telematics module
with legacy system integration – wired or wireless. Built-in vehicle network message parsing, GPS, signal conditioning, external communication, as well as embedded prognostics and diagnostics capabilities. Feature-rich in a compact, rugged design. Scalable architecture that can be enhanced according to platform and/or application. Operates independently of supporting systems.
