Sothink HD Movie Maker - A Simple Way to Create HD Movies  » read source

With a few clicks and a couple of minutes you have Sothink's new HD Movie Maker installed on your PC. Restart computer and there you have it: a cool utility to enhance your movies. Open the program, load a file (it supports nearly all video formats) and your high-definition movie is automatically encoded. HD Movie Maker has a very simple and easy-to-use interface, so even a complete beginner can get the job done. By hovering the mouse over the clip loaded in the program you can visualize details about the movie like format, size, audio and video codecs and sample rates, etc. Additionally you can trim your movie, if it has parts you don't want to be included in the final version. After getting through the trimming part you can start the burning process and you're done. I tried HDMM using a 2:32 minutes clip and it took 7 minutes to encode and burn it, it's definitely worth it.

With HDMM you also have the ability to preview source videos directly with the built-in video player in program or even pause, resume and stop the task during conversion. The software supports a large range of disc formats like DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, BD-R, BD-RE, etc and high resolution up to 1920x1080p. Another great feature is that it supports multiple CPUs and multi-core CPU, which allows multiple videos to be encoded into HD Blu-ray movies with fast speed. Minimum system requirements for using this product are low, all you need is:

- Windows XP/Vista, and Windows Server 2003/2008

- Intel PII processor or above (P4 or K8 is recommended)

- 128 MB of RAM or above.

The burning function needs Windows XP SP2/Windows Vista SP1 or above, but if your system doesn't meet these requirements, HD Movie Maker will automatically generate a standard folder to store your movie. Then you can use other burning tools like Nero and ImgBurn to burn the converted movies to Blu-ray discs.

A live demo of the product can be downloaded here http://www.sothinkmedia.com/hd-movie-maker/index.htm or simply visit http://www.sothinkmedia.com for more products or information on HDMM.
