A major release of its retail visibility suite has been announced today by the leading solution provider helping consumer product goods (CPG) companies create value with retailer data, Retail Solutions Inc.

Retail Solutions Demand Signal Management (DSM) now seamlessly integrates syndicated data to the most widely used retail platform for near real-time POS data sharing and analytics. In parallel, Retailer Solutions Advanced Analytics, also provides customers online and offline access to the most granular data, without any software installation requirement.

Vice President, Customer Operations, Retail Solutions, Andrea Vento, stated: "Our customers now have a single solution to see all their demand data and a powerful, easy-to-use engine to analyze it." He added: "CPG companies need to see across all customers to optimize forecasting, promotions and new product introduction. However, it is equally critical to see in-depth into each customer relationship to improve store-level execution, on-shelf availability or field resource productivity. Our enhanced Retail Solutions Advanced Analytics solution bundled with the additional data we integrate into Retail Solutions DSM puts all the necessary information at the fingertips of any resource in the customer team at anytime."

Enhanced Retail Solutions DSM and Retail Solutions Advanced Reporting features include:

    * New data streams and reports, integrating syndicated data. Users can generate aggregated or detailed analytic views of data comparing operational point-of-sale (POS) and supply chain information with syndicated, market-level data.
    * Upgraded, pure web-based reporting solution to make the most granular retailer data available - online and offline. This powerful, user-friendly business intelligence environment enables customers to go beyond the obvious and understand the actual detailed facts beyond each aggregated report.

Research Director, Consumer Products, AMR Research, Lora Cecere, in her recent Demand Management: Trends to Watch report declared: "Data enrichment is needed to connect panel data to actual shopper data and understand the trends by shopper segmentation." Lora continued: "This is the secret ingredient most companies use to distinguish themselves in the competitive marketplace."

Including seven of the top ten US retailers - on a single web-based, software-as-a-service (SaaS), user-friendly tool, without any upfront investment, more than 110 consumer goods companies trust Retail Solutions to analyze data from more than 20 different retailers.
