Lia Prewitt, a Los Angeles area mother, has created The New Mom's Best Babysitting & Parenting eBook in order to give helpful tips to moms and raise money for charity. Mothers are helped with tips, forms, advice and quotes that can make their becoming parents easier. Part of the money gained from this book will be given to The International Rescue Committee, Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Drive Kids to be Fit this holiday season.

In addition to the helpful tips added in the book, funny things like what celebrities are buying for their babies are also included.

Children's Hospital Los Angeles was founded in 1901 and has been treating the most seriously ill and injured children in Los Angeles for more than a century and it is acknowledged throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health.

Drive Kids to be Fit is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting childhood obesity. Most recently, actress Vanessa Williams recorded a PSA in support of their programs. Drive Kids to be Fit is associated with the National Institute of Health's We Can! Program.

The International Rescue Committee serves refugees and communities victimized by oppression or violent conflict worldwide. George Clooney and his father documented their work with displaced refugees in a film about Darfur. Prewitt is also the founder of Twenty Women For Darfur, a coalition of women who raise funds for organizations aiding displaced families in Darfur such as The International Rescue Committee.
