Verizon Wireless has expanded its network with a new cell site in Canisteo, in a continuing effort to provide the best wireless service for local residents in Steuben County. Coverage and capacity in the village of Canisteo, north on Route 36 to Hornell, south on Route 248 to Greenwood, and west along Route 21 between Canisteo and Andover, are improved by the new site.

    This network expansion is part of the company's aggressive multi-billion dollar network investment each year to stay ahead of the growing demand for Verizon Wireless voice and data services.
